Standard Email and Text Messaging
PayNearMe’s payment flow provides consumers with concise email and/or SMS notifications about their orders, accounts, and transactions. This document provides a list of standard notifications for common order and transaction events in both English and Spanish. Merchants can customize each message using dynamic, PayNearMe-defined macros or custom API parameters that they define. Custom notifications can enhance your brand’s messaging while keeping your customers updated on relevant and specific transaction and account events.
Order and Payment Notifications
Order notifications provide consumers with information about available bills/balances and encourage self-service via Smart Links. Payment notifications provide consumers with a real-time receipt record for approved and declined transactions. Depending on your merchant configuration, consumers can also receive notifications asking them to create saved payment methods or informing them of returned ACH payments.

Autopay Schedule notifications provide consumers with updated information about recurring payment schedules created in the PayNearMe platform. These notifications include schedule authorizations, payment reminders, transaction confirmations, and errors that occurred when processing scheduled payments.
